Magnesium Rocks!

We can’t stress the importance of getting enough magnesium in your daily diet. We use magnesium at our medical clinic in our nutrient IVs and to support chelation therapy, as well as offer the best pharmaceutical grade supplement for daily use.

Magnesium is necessary for over 300 biochemical reactions in the body. With so many people not meeting the daily recommended amount of magnesium, it’s no wonder not having enough can wreak havoc in the body!

Not getting enough magnesium can certainly make for some uncomfortable health conditions in the body. According to Carolyn Dean, MD, ND, the top 27 health conditions she feels can be directly caused by insufficient intake of magnesium (taken from Better Nutrition shopping magazine, June 2012):

Anxiety and panic attacks

Blood clots
Bowel disease induced by constipation

Confusion
Cramps in any area of the body
Cystitis and bladder spasms
Depression
Diabetes

The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition has indicated that adding even 100 mg of magnesium in addition to the daily requirement can help reduce your risk for stroke by up to 9 percent. Other clinical journals have suggested that 120-1000 mg can reduce blood pressure and heart disease.
