Heart and diabetes patients may have more options when it comes to regaining their health. An alternative therapy known as chelation therapy is getting some much appreciated attention these days.
Recent data presented from the American Heart Association (AHA) is showing indication that IV EDTA chelation treatments are beneficial in diabetics and patients who have had heart attacks. Patients were followed for 55 months with some receiving chelation and others a placebo.
The data is showing possible reduction and risk of future episodes of heart attack and stroke. More observation and study will be necessary before definitive conclusions are made.
