No Flu Vaccine, Just Natural Immunity for Children

In late 2007, New Jersey became the nation’s first state that requires preschoolers to get flu shots. Beginning September 2008, any child who attends licensed day care or preschool will be required to receive a yearly flu shot. Children with both private health insurance, as well as low-income families, will have the shots paid for. However, this is not the issue at hand.
This law is causing problems not only because it challenges our liberties, but there are legal issues surrounding the administration of these vaccines and what they do to a young child’s immune system. More and more evidence is showing that certain vaccines could be challenging our ability to react normally to health challenges and may take months to rebuild our immunity pre-inoculation.
Alternative physicians still agree the best way to avoid health challenges is to strengthen our immunity through nutrition, with supplementation and IV nutrient support as needed. Fresh fruits and vegetables, vitamins A, C, D, E, zinc, iron and selenium are especially good for supporting immunity. For small babies, mother’s breast milk is still best.
